• Logistics contracts, which apply to items that are required across the
programme by all or many contracts and may include some preliminary-
type packages, such as site accommodation, security items, welfare
facilities and transportation.
Figure 8.1 shows an example of how one such cluster for a tier 1 supply
chain might be mapped, and Figure 8.2 shows a screenshot of a full tier
1 map for the Crossrail programme, taken during the spring of 2012.
