golf, ride horses, work out, take cooking lessons, and even drive a real race car or
watch the Atlanta Braves's spring training.
Your kids will go nuts for the
Wilderness Lodge Resort,
and so will you. While
you're there, have a family-style meal at the kid-friendly
Whispering Canyon Cafe
and rent bikes for a ride on the paved paths of adjacent
Fort Wilderness Resort &
Campground.
The outing will be a great change of pace. The only downside is that
your kids might not want to go back to their own hotel.
More fun is available at
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex,
a 220-acre
competition and training center. During late winter and early spring, the venue is the
spring training home of the Atlanta Braves. It's also home to Orlando's Major League
Soccer team, the Orlando City Soccer Club. Orlando City's schedule usually runs
February-mid-September. Disney guests are welcome at the sports complex as pay-
ing spectators, but none of the facilities are available for guests to use. Prices vary;
to book tickets and to learn what events (including Major League Baseball exhibi-
tion games) are scheduled during your visit, call 407-939-GAME or visit
