is a non-Disney
water-park option. If you are looking for a colorful atmosphere, Wet 'n Wild will not
deliver; however, the park is packed with incredible slides, flumes, and activities for
all ages. Water puppies will get their fill, and kids can go wild.
Tickets at the main gate are $56 for adults and $51 for kids ages 3-9, plus tax. Al-
ways call or check online for special deals and discounts (especially for AAA mem-
bers, Florida residents, and members of the military). An annual pass is $82 if pur-
chased online (plus tax with free parking). The park also offers half-price admission
in the afternoon. Parking fees are $13 for cars and vans and $17 for RVs. Lockers can
be rented for $6-$11 plus tax depending on size, and towel rental is $4; both require a
refundable deposit of $3. Life vests are provided for free. Pets are not allowed inside
the park, and there is no kennel.
Mears Transportation operates a shuttle to Wet 'n Wild that stops three times a
day at Disney hotels. It's the same shuttle that commutes between Walt Disney World
and Universal Orlando. Cost is $17-$20 for guests age 3 and older. If you are staying

What I like best about Wet 'n Wild is that the park is open 9:30
a.m.-9 p.m. daily throughout the summer This is a huge advantage over the
Disney water parks that generally close 6-7 p.m.
As with all thrill slides, lines can become unbearably long, so arrive early. Also
keep in mind that most slides are geared more toward older children. All the slides
outside the Blast-away Beach have a 48-inch height requirement, except for multi-
passenger slides, for which the minimum height is 36 inches if an adult accompanies
the short rider. The only exceptions to this policy are the rides at Wake Zone, with a
