Refillable mugs:
If you or the kids enjoy soda, your best bet is to get a refillable mug, avail-
able at both water parks. For the price of the mug ($10), you are entitled to free refills
throughout the day (only on the day of purchase). Select locations.
I will say that going to Blizzard Beach in December was the best decision
ever! We went on a Monday in December. There was no one there! They told
us at the entrance that if the park didn't reach 100—yes, I said 100—people
by noon, they would be closing. Well, I guess they got to 101 people because
it stayed open and was totally empty. There was no wait for anything all day!
In June we waited in line for an hour for Summit Plummet. In December it
took us only the amount of time to walk up the stairs. We had the enormous
wave pool to ourselves. We did everything in the entire park and had lunch in
less than 3 hours. It was perfect. The weather was slightly chilly at 71° and
overcast with very light rain, but the water is heated, so we were fine
.

At Typhoon Lagoon, a first-aid station is located behind Leaning Palms. The Blizzard
Beach first-aid station is between Lottawatta Lodge and Beach Haus.
