is a godsend: 1) It NEVER has a line (even on our visit
on New Years' Day). 2) Everyone ages 1-100 gives the show high marks. 3)
Between the preshow and the movie, it's half an hour seated comfortably in
an air-conditioned theater. 4) Between the live actors and animatronics, it's
so much more than just another silly 3-D movie. 5) IT'S THE MUPPETS!
Who doesn't love these hysterical creatures and their 3-D shenanigans?

This walk-through, interactive attraction takes guests through pirate adventures, in-
cluding a confrontation with skeleton pirates, singing mermaids, and a summoning
of the squidlike Kraken. Virtually all of the presentation takes place in a room de-
signed like a pirate's cave lair. Animatronic figures and other props are placed around
the room and used throughout the show. A talking skull, recognizable from the Ma-
gic Kingdom's Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, serves as a narrator for each scene.
Finally, an impressive holographic Jack Sparrow takes guests through a pirate oath,
cementing their commitment to kidnapping, ransacking, and not-giving-a-hoot-ing. A
woman from Rahway, New Jersey, wasn't impressed:
I can't believe we waited 45 minutes in line for this. I spent the entire time
thinking there HAD to be something more exciting about to happen

it's next to Toy Story Midway Mania!, Jack Sparrow tends to draw guests who have
either just finished riding or who have balked at getting in Toy Story's long line. If
the wait for Sparrow is more than 20 minutes, try later in the day.
