In-Depth Information
As you enjoy one of the most spectacular panoramas in Walt Disney World, you wish
this expedition would never end. But you get over that in a hurry as the train starts
whirring through the guts of Disney's largest man-made mountain. After a high-speed
encounter with a large, smelly (and often AWOL) yeti and a dead stop at the top of
themountain, the50-mphchase continues backward. Therideisverysmoothandrich
both in visuals and special effects. The backward segment is one of the most creative
and exciting 20 seconds in roller-coaster annals.
I think it's cool because there are a lot of big hills. There's a yeti, and he
tries to eat you. If you're a big screamer like me, you'll probably just close
your eyes and open your mouth.
The best part is when you get to the broken tracks and you start going back-
wards really fast. Be prepared to scream—that adds to it.
