This is the closest you'll come to hang gliding without trying the real thing. Once
you're “airborne,” IMAX-quality aerial images of California are projected all around
you, and the flight simulator moves in sync with the movie. The images are well
chosen and drop-dead beautiful. Special effects include wind, sound, and even smell.
The ride itself is thrilling but perfectly smooth. Any child (or adult) who meets the
40-inch minimum height requirement will love Soarin'. See it before 9:30 a.m. or
book FastPass+ reservations up to 60 days in advance; expect all reservations to be
gone by 2 p.m. on days of moderate attendance or as early as noon on busier days.

capacity should be worth the hassle of getting the extra land cleared.
Soarin' is such a good ride. Even if you can't get a FastPass and you have to
wait 200 minutes, you should still go. Ask to sit in the first row. Disney's
best ride, hands-down.
