seats swing side to side as you go through turns. And—what a coincidence!—Disney
has designed a curvy track with steep turns. An elaborate indoor section shows the
dwarfs' underground operation. The exterior design includes waterfalls, forests, and
landscaping and is meant to join together all of the surrounding Fantasyland's various
locations, including France and Germany.
If you have only a day to see the Magic Kingdom, make advance FastPass+ re-
servations for around 9:30 a.m. at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and around 3:30
p.m. at Space Mountain. On the day of your visit, ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train as
soon as the park opens, then Splash Mountain. If you have two mornings, do Seven
Dwarfs Mine Train, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain on one day and
Space Mountain the next.

Under The Sea takes riders through almost a dozen scenes retelling the story of
The
Little Mermaid
film, with Audio-Animatronics, video effects, and a vibrant 3-D set
thesizeofasmalltheater.Guestsboardaclamshell-shaped ridevehiclerunningalong
a continuously moving track (similar to The Haunted Mansion's). Once you're on
board, the ride descends “under water,” past Ariel's grotto and to King Triton's under-
sea kingdom. The most detailed animatronic is Ursula the octopus, and she's a beauty.
Other scenes hit the film's highlights, including Ariel meeting Prince Eric, her deal
with Ursula to become human, and, of course, the happy couple at the end.
Expect long waits in line. Try to ride early in the morning or late at night.
