Many Disney shows run back to back with only 1 or 2 minutes in between to
change the audience. If you want to breast-feed and require more time than the length
of the show, tell the cast member on entering that you want to breast-feed and ask if
you can remain in the theater and watch a second showing while your baby finishes.
Also keep in mind that many shows may have special effects or loud sound tracks that
may make children even as old as 7 uncomfortable.
If you can adjust to nursing in more public places with your breast and the baby's
head covered with a shawl or some such, nursing will not be a problem at all. Even on
themostcrowdeddays,youcanalwaysfindabackcornerofarestaurantoracompar-
atively secluded park bench or garden spot to nurse. Finally, the Baby Care Centers,
with their private nursing rooms, are centrally located in all of the parks except the
Studios.

Children ages 4-6 vary immensely in their capacity to comprehend and enjoy Walt
Disney World. With this age group, the go-no-go decision is a judgment call. If your
child is sturdy, easygoing, fairly adventuresome, and demonstrates a high degree of
independence,thetripwillprobablywork.Ontheotherhand,ifyourchildtireseasily,
is temperamental, or is a bit timid or reticent in embracing new experiences, you're
much better off waiting a few years. Whereas the travel and sensory-overload prob-
lems of infants and toddlers can be addressed and (usually) remedied on the go, dis-
