OPENED IN THE SUMMER OF 2014, the plush Four Seasons lies inside Golden
Oak, a gated residential development on Walt Disney World property. The Spanish
Revival-inspired architecture calls to mind Florida's grand resorts of the early 20th
century. Standard-view rooms look out onto the resort's lawns, gardens, and nearby
homes in Golden Oak. Lake-view rooms, which overlook the lake, the Tom
Fazio-designed Tranquilo Golf Club (formerly Disney's Osprey Ridge Golf Course),
or the pool, cost about $100 more per night than standard-view rooms. “Park view”
rooms, on floors 6-16, cost about $200 more per night than standard-view rooms
and offer views of the Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks. (Suites are available with
views of Epcot, too.)
Ifyou'relookingforfamilyactivities, theFourSeasonshasthem.ExplorerIsland
comprises a family pool, 242-foot waterslide, children's splash zone, playground, and
lazy river. The Kids for All Seasons program runs daily, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Other amenit-
ies include a full-service spa and fitness center.
Capa, a Spanish-themed rooftop restaurant, serves seafood and steaks. Ravello,
on the first floor, serves upscale Italian dishes for dinner as well as a Disney-character
breakfast on Thursdays, Saturdays, and select Tuesdays. PB&G (Pool Bar and Grill)
