The Serralves Museum, housed in a striking building designed by architect Alvaro Siza Vieira,
has multiple galleries exhibiting contemporary art. The museum grounds also feature a pink art
deco building and 44 acres of manicured gardens. The complex is considered to be one of
Porto's top cultural centers. The Serralves Museum is open April to September from Tuesday
to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. During winter (October to
March) it is open Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Admission to the museum and park is 7. Those 18 years and under enter free of charge.
