This topic contains theoretical and technical chapters which offer a compre-

portfolio or electronic portfolio program at your institution. Regardless if you
are student, a faculty member, a freelancer, or a business owner, you will get
value from the ideas presented in this text. The focus of this topic is to assist you
in exploring different aspects of Web portfolios. To do this, I realize that I must
give you my viewpoint and the viewpoints of others who have been researching
electronic portfolios and Web portfolios since the early 1990s. Giving you
