In-Depth Information
it conceptualization, content gathering, design, development, up-
loading, or promotion?
A:
As a working artist in the field for over 30 years, a major hurtle was
deciding what specific content would be the most vital and substantially
interesting for viewers on net. Gathering an exhaustive body of work and
then sorting through to reveal the most precious and important contribu-
tions was difficult. Now that I have tackled that hurdle, I can work “day
forward” to add the latest accomplishments to my electronic narrative.
Q:
Do you plan to redesign the Web portfolio eventually? If so, what
might you do differently?
A:
Yes. Although I would not completely rebuild the site, I intend on
delivering more finished projects. Instead of providing only extracts and
partial segments of my video and sound works, I will have the complete
works in their entirety available for viewing and listening.

Q:
What is your current position or student status? How long have you
been in your current industry or field?
A:
I am a professional artist, art professor at LIU , principal of Return of The
Bald Eagle Press and artist-in-residence at the Teaneck Creek Conser-
vancy in Teaneck, NJ. I also have been an artist for 35 years, but with a
substantial shift in direction over the past 10.
Q:
What does your Web portfolio content consist of? Please describe
and list assets or artifacts presented on the Web portfolio.
A:
The categories are; contact info; professional history and artists state-
ment; professional highlights (brief resume); projects (Broad Street
Stories, Greenway, Hackensack River Stories, Proposals, R.O.B.E.
Press, Teaneck Creek Conservancy, X Garden); resources (links and
bibliography). I tried to limit each page to between two and six images.
There is a brief sound track on opening.
