Files can be updated locally on your hard drive and then re-uploaded. Once the
files are up, you can go to an Internet connected browser to check the changes.
Remember to press the refresh button on the browser bar. The Web page
needs to update the cache so that you will see the most recent version.
Dreamweaver uses the terms get and put when referring to file uploads (put)
and file downloads (get) to and from a host server.
Uploading Files
One important note to remember: the folder structure of your hard drive site
should be the same as the one the host provides. After your site is complete you
can drag all the files into the root folder on the server. If you drag the entire root
folder (first initial last name) to the root folder of the server, you will have a sub-
directory. For example: siteurl/jdimarco. To fix this, in Dreamweaver's site
panel, with all pages closed, rename the root directory to whatever the root
