We repeat the process for the other two fields in the report. After doing so, our report
now looks like this:
We decided to change the alignment of the
Model
static text to right, and to
right-align it with its corresponding text field.
To avoid extra vertical space between records, we resized the detail band by
dragging its bottom margin up. Also, to avoid having empty space between the page
header and the detail band, we set the column header band height to 0. We now have
a simple but complete report. We can execute it by clicking on the
Build | Execute
report (
using active
conn.)
menu item. This will compile, fill, and display our report,
which should look like this:
