Then by outlining the location of the text field on the report, it should look like
this now:
Notice how iReport inserts a fake field as the default report expression. To
substitute this default report expression with an appropriate one, we need to either
double-click on the text field and type the appropriate expression, or right-click
on the field and select
properties
from the resulting pop-up menu. Selecting the
properties
menu item will result in the following window popping up:
