Step 3: Use a Level to Determine High and Low Areas
To level the frame, use a carpenters level. Even if you have a perfectly level site, you may
stillwanttodigatrenchsothebedframesitsdownintothegroundatleasttwo-threeinches
to increase the frame's strength and to keep soil from washing out under the bed frame. For
a sloping site, you will dig down on the uphill side until it is level with the low side.
