The Simulation Results
The comparison results of improved multi-structure and multi-faceted morphological
edge detection and the conventional edge detection are shown in Figure 4, the
selected multi-structure elements are square, diamond, and disc-shaped structural
elements scale of 2 , the selected multi-faceted structural elements set are linear
structural elements of 0 °, 45 °, 90 °, 135 ° direction.
