8 Conclusions

This paper presents an algorithm for image retrieval based on wavelet domain distri-
buted information entropy. It is different from the traditional methods of image re-
trieval which use of wavelet texture. The algorithms presented in this paper use not
only the global information of wavelet texture, but also the information entropy of
domain distributed information. Experimental results compare with similar method
show that the method presented in this paper has higher performance of image
retrieval.
