BEST TIME TO VISIT The week of Sunday, October 26, through Sunday, November 2, is the
best time to visit in October, with average crowds, cooler weather, and plenty of opportun-
ities to enjoy Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Food and Wine Festival.
November
COST With the exception of Thanksgiving week (Nov. 21-27), all of November is Fall
season, with pricing slightly higher than Value season 2 and lower than Regular season.
Thanksgiving week sees pricing about equal to a weekend during Regular season, which is
less than Peak season and other major holidays.
WEATHER It's noticeably cooler than September and October, with an average high of 76
and an average low of 59 degrees. November introduces more variability in high and low
temperatures than the summer. Humidity is also substantially lower, with a 23% chance of
precipitation. For those who like warm, but not uncomfortably hot temperatures, Novem-
ber is the perfect month to visit.
CROWDS Crowds are surprisingly light for the majority of November, with two major ex-
ceptions. The first is November 5-9, due to a phenomenon known as “Jersey Week” com-
bining with the Wine and Dine Half Marathon. All New Jersey schools are off the Thursday
and Friday of the first full week of November, and many families from the state travel to
Disney World during that week and/or weekend. This raises crowd levels significantly, par-
ticularly at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Second, Thanksgiving week is very crowded.
REFURBISHMENTS Typically a few minor attractions.
SPECIAL EVENTS THAT MAY AFFECT CROWDS OR YOUR STAY:
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party has its last show November 1. See
“September” for details.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins November 8 and happens several
other evenings throughout the month. It requires a separate ticket to attend. Like
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, this Party includes a unique parade, fire-
works show, and several special stage shows. Cocoa and cookies take the place
of trick-or-treating candy. The Party runs from 7pm-12am, with Party ticket hold-
ers allowed to enter as early as 4pm. Because of the 7pm closures for regular
guests, other nights with late closures, fireworks, and the evening parade are wildly
crowded at the Magic Kingdom. Unlike the Halloween Party, where the first few
parties are typically the least crowded, the first few Christmas Parties typically sell
out due to elevated crowds for Veterans Day and the Wine and Dine Half Mara-
thon.
Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival continues daily through November
16. See “September” for details.
