30 Days Before First Park Visit (If Staying Anywhere Else)
Beginning (if you choose) at midnight, go to your My Disney Experience account and set
up your FastPass+.
Notes on Packing, Etc., Before You Leave
1. If you have them, bring your MagicBands in your carry-ons or wear them on your
wrists.
2. If you use Disney's Magical Express, you do not need to collect your bags at the
Orlando airport unless you choose to, arrive late in the evening/at night (between
10 pm and 5 am), or are an international traveler. Disney will obtain them for you
(without the bags ever going to baggage claim) and deliver them directly to your
room. Your bags will likely arrive at your hotel hours after you do. Plan to pack an
appropriate change of clothes for Orlando weather, medications, etc., in a carry-on.
Follow the instructions in the Magical Express packet you will receive in the mail
regarding both tagging your bags pre-departure and where to go at the Orlando air-
port to find the bus to your resort. Magical Express check-in is located on the B
side of Level 1. If you arrive on the A side or pick up your luggage yourself on the
A side, you will need to walk over to the B side. Note that this is only possible on
Level 3. There is no way to walk from the A side to the B side on any other level.
3. Bring copies/printouts of your room reservation, confirmation numbers, and any
tickets for special events you may have received in the mail.
4. When you arrive at the hotel, if you used Online Check-in, look for the special On-
line Check-in line, and get into it.
We're almost there! Setting up dining and FastPass+ reservations can be stressful and frus-
trating, but you're armed with the best possible strategy. Once the reservations are booked,
there's little to worry about.
