et IDs.
If people on the reservation are missing, click from the same MDE dropdown menu,
“My Family and Friends”. Once the new screen opens, click the little “Add a Guest” button
at the upper right. Type the names of the missing people, and, if applicable, their ticket IDs.
If you have trouble, try tech support—at (407) 939-5277—and have the ticket and reserva-

Booking FastPass+ Ahead of Your Arrival
At press time, FastPass+ can be booked in advance by everyone with a valid “Magic Your
Way” ticket or annual pass. Guests staying in Disney-owned resorts or the Swan or Dolphin
can begin booking FastPass+ 60 days before their arrival date. Guests staying elsewhere
can book up to 30 days before planned use. FastPass+ strategy is covered in depth back in
Chapter 6.
Booking FastPass+ as soon as eligible is advantageous because the most attractions and
times will be available. Each FastPass+ experience has a limited number of slots. Fewer
and fewer experiences will be available as a specific visit date approaches because more
and more people have gone online and secured their choices.
Two notes related to timing and changes:
• Parades and firework shows may not to be offered for FastPass+ until much closer
to the visit date. Typically, an entire month of availability opens a few days be-
fore a given month. For example, Festival of Fantasy might become available for
August 1-31 on July 27, giving people visiting early in August just a few days lead
time. Don't panic if a parade or night-time spectacular isn't available at the 30- or
60-day mark. Typically, when an experience is sold out, it will say “Standby Avail-
able”. When an experience is not yet available for booking, it will simply not be
listed.
• Tiering (more on this shortly) is currently in place at Epcot and Disney's Holly-
wood Studios, with the possibility that it might arrive at Animal Kingdom and Ma-
gic Kingdom in the future. If it does, previously booked FastPass+ experiences will
not be canceled, but future changes to them may be limited.
Read Chapter 6, if you haven't already, and decide which FastPass+ experiences and times
you'd like to book. Beginning at midnight exactly 60 days out, you can sign into your MDE
account on DisneyWorld.com and complete the following steps:
From the My Disney Experience drop down, pick FastPass+.
On the next screen, select New FastPass+.
Not all members of the group are required to select the same FastPass+ experien-
ces. Some groups with younger and older children may want to book two separate
sets of FastPass+ experiences because the little ones want to ride Winnie the Pooh
and Tomorrowland Speedway with Dad while the older kids prefer Space Moun-
tain and Big Thunder Mountain with Mom. On the next screen, select the members
of the party for whom you'd like to reserve the same experiences and times. This
