In-Depth Information
CUISINE American. DDP Yes. DISCOUNTS 20% TiW.
HOURS AND PRICES Breakfast (8-10:45am): $26 adults, $16 kids. Lunch (11:30am-2:45pm):
$30 adults, $17 kids. Dinner (3pm-park close): $40 adults, $21 kids.
OVERVIEW Join Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet at this all-you-care-to-enjoy
buffet. The bright, airy restaurant is inspired by Victorian greenhouses of the late 1800s,
complete with high ceilings, character topiaries, and plenty of natural sunlight. Character
interaction is above average, as is the food, which includes items like Spit-roasted Carved
meats, Spice Boiled Shrimp, 20+ salads, and over a dozen desserts. Crystal Palace is often
the most over-booked restaurant on property. Even with a reservation, plan to wait 15-30
minutes for your table. For guests paying cash, an early lunch is the best choice-cheaper
than dinner, shorter waits, and no rush to get through the meal.
Liberty Tree Tavern
Liberty Square, near Diamond Horseshoe
CUISINE American. DDP Yes. DISCOUNTS 20% TiW.
HOURS AND PRICES Table-service Lunch (11:30am-3pm): Appetizers: $6-$15; Entrees:
$13-$24. Kids : $9. Family-style Dinner (4pm-park close): $36 adults, $18 kids.
OVERVIEW Lunch is the usual table service gig with an a la carte menu, with entrees that
average $15, while dinner is served family style. Liberty Tree is a Colonial-themed tav-
ern, featuring candelabra chandeliers, brick fireplaces, and rooms filled with artifacts from
some of America's most famous patriots. Lunch is significantly less expensive, with en-
trees plenty large enough to fill up the biggest appetites. Guests choosing to pay about $40/
adult for the Thanksgiving-inspired dinner will receive a wider variety of foods, in addi-
tion to dessert and non-alcoholic beverages. We prefer a late lunch at this well-air-condi-
tioned, moderately priced restaurant where the turkey, pot roast, and salad are similar to
dinner. Other lunch options include pasta, sandwiches, and a burger. Kids choose from tur-
key, pasta with marinara, macaroni and cheese, and flatbread pizza.
The Plaza Restaurant
End of Main Street, on the right
CUISINE American. HOURS 11am-park close. DDP Yes. DISCOUNTS 20% TiW.
PRICES Lunch/Dinner Entrees: $13-$19. Kids : $9.
OVERVIEW Continuing the Main Street theme, The Plaza features Art Nouveau touches in-
side a turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor. By far the least expensive theme park sit-down-
restaurant, Plaza is an excellent choice for cash guests on a budget, particularly at dinner,
when sandwiches are all under $15 and no item is over $20. Kids' options include a cheese
sandwich, burger, chicken strips, turkey sandwich, and PB&J. Food and service are great
for the money, but we are not talking highfalutin' dining at this casual eatery.
