come, with a kids' menu that includes hot dogs, fish sticks, grilled black grouper, and penne
pasta.
When the weather is nice, the outdoor patio area works as a walk-up lounge that offers a
menu of tapas and drinks, in addition to the full Brown Derby menu. If there's space, it's a
great way to indulge on a margarita flight or glass of wine alongside a famous Cobb Salad
or innovative sliders. The only discount the lounge accepts is Tables in Wonderland.

OVERVIEW Featuring Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Jake from Jake and the Neverland
Pirates , and Handy Manny for Play 'n Dine breakfast and lunch, this character meal is
squarely aimed at kids who are invited to join the characters for singing, dancing, and
parading throughout the meal. Food is best at breakfast, which includes all the usual sus-
pects like Mickey waffles, bacon, and made-to-order omelets. Lunch and dinner bring spe-
cialties like Pastrami Rubbed Porkloin, Beer Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs, and Lob-
ster & Shrimp Mac n' Cheese that all sound better than they taste. Visit this extremely loud
buffet only for breakfast or lunch with kids excited about meeting the characters, as food
quality is average at best. The expensive, characterless dinner should be skipped.
From May 4 through June 14, the restaurant will offer a Star Wars themed dinner with
Jedi Mickey, Princess Leia Minnie, Darth Vader Goofy, Storm Trooper Donald, and Ewoks
Chip 'n' Dale. The cost is $58 for adults and $35 for kids ages 3-9 or two credits on the
Dining Plan.
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano
Streets of America, across from the exit to Muppet Vision 3D
CUISINE Americanized Italian. HOURS 12pm-park close. DDP Yes. DISCOUNTS 20% TiW.
PRICES Lunch/Dinner Appetizers: $6-$11; Entrees: $13-$33. Kids : $9.
OVERVIEW Mama Melrose herself (not really) serves up Americanized Italian food in this
backlot warehouse that's been repurposed (not really) into an eclectic neighborhood eatery.
Mama does pizzas ($15 or less), spaghetti ($19), and Chicken alla Parmigiana ($19) better
than the more expensive steaks ($33) and Pork Tenderloin ($24). With one menu served all
day, Mama is best at dinner. While not as richly themed as Sci-Fi or 50's, Mama's checked
curtains, overhead Christmas lights, and old-time photographs of Disney characters create
a fun and casual atmosphere. Kids' menu includes cheese pizzas, chicken parmesan, spa-
ghetti, and grilled chicken.
