In-Depth Information
WHAT TO EXPECT Two-to three person “clamshells” take you under the sea into a fairly liter-
al re-telling of the Little Mermaid . There's much color and movement, and the party scene
is particularly well-done, but those who are not Little Mermaid fans may find it dull. If just
one Little Mermaid attraction is enough for you, see the one at Disney's Hollywood Studi-
os instead. SCARY FACTOR Low. It has its moments shrouded in darkness, but it's not in any
way scary.
WHEN TO GO First two or last two hours of operation, or with FastPass+. EXPECT TO WAIT
30-40 minutes in the afternoon. LENGTH 5 minutes. WHERE TO SIT All seats are good.
The Walt Disney World Railroad
See the “Main Street” entry on the railroad for more details. The Fantasyland stop is near
the entrance to The Barnstormer.
Tomorrowland
One of the most popular lands, and the one located just off the Hub to the right, Tomorrow-
land is home to several of Magic Kingdom's most popular attractions, including the vener-
able Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Several anytime attractions
are also situated here, including the Carousel of Progress, Tomorrowland PeopleMover,
and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.
Tomorrowland is host to no table service restaurants, but Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café
is one of Magic Kingdom's most popular quick services. Offering rotisserie chicken, ribs
(only after 4pm), burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and salads, you'll find a
wider selection of food here than at most other quick service locations. Tomorrowland Ter-
race is another major quick service, located closer to the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street
than the rest of Tomorrowland, but it's only open when Magic Kingdom is particularly
crowded. If it is open, the salad, sandwich, and pasta fare may be worth checking out.
Lunching Pad is located underneath Astro Orbiter in the center of Tomorrowland, serving
a couple of forgettable hot dogs, in addition to sweet cream-cheese pretzels, frozen bever-
ages, and other snacks. Also near Astro Orbiter, Cool Ship serves beverages and snacks.
Rounding out the choices is Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies, serving smoothies, snacks,
and ice cream treats.
Mickey's StarTraders and Merchant of Venus near Stitch's Great Escape are the two
primary stores, though most everything sold here is available elsewhere. There are small
shops at the exits to Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain as well.

Spinning ride.
RANKING
REQUIREMENTS None.
WHAT TO EXPECT This slow-loading, low capacity ride spins riders high over Tomorrow-
land. Twelve “rocket ships” load from an elevated platform (two to a vehicle), raise up, and
spin. You can control how high you go. Views are nice, and being high is bit of a thrill, but
not worth long waits. SCARY FACTOR Medium. This is the most intense spinner attraction at
