the World Showcase between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions. Guests transfer-
ring from Magic Kingdom or the Magic Kingdom parking lot (Transportation and Ticket
Center) arrive at the main entrance via the monorail.
Guest Services outside the main entrance is on the far right, while Guest Services inside
is on the far left past Spaceship Earth. Wheelchair and ECV rental are on the left just in-
side the entrance. At the International Gateway, Guest Services is located next to the ticket
booths on the left outside bag check. Wheelchairs and EVCs are available for rental inside
on the left.
Future World East
Future World East is where you'll find three of Epcot's four top priority attractions: Test
Track, Sum of All Thrills, and Mission: SPACE. Most guests visiting only for one day will
want to start on this side, and guests spending two or more days will also want to plan a
morning starting with Test Track or a late arrival with Test Track as a FastPass+ selection.
Bypass Spaceship Earth, the park's icon, first thing in the morning. The iconic structure
that looks like a giant golf ball enjoys lower peak waits than the headliners and sees shorter
waits after 6pm. Many uninformed guests ride Spaceship Earth first thing, putting them at
a great disadvantage as they won't arrive at Test Track until at least 9:30am, when waits
will already be hitting 30+ minutes.
Dining choices are slim—Electric Umbrella is really it, and it serves a limited menu fea-
turing Disney's standard burgers, chicken nuggets, and sandwiches. The Vegetarian Flat-
bread is an unlikely standout. Various stands serve snacks, including pretzels, churros, and
beer.
Mouse Gear is the largest store in Epcot, offering the widest assortment of theme park
merchandise outside of World of Disney at Downtown Disney.
Ellen's Energy Adventure
RANKING Minor attraction. EMH No. FP+ No. TYPE Dark ride. REQUIREMENTS None.
WHAT TO EXPECT A 45-minute experience about energy begins when riders are seated in
what looks like a conventional theater where they will be shown the first of several films
featuring Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Nye. After that, your section of the theater will break
away from the other ride vehicles and you will slowly be taken through a variety of An-
imatronic scenes and films. With limited time at the park, this is the easiest attraction to
skip due to its long duration and outdated Animatronics. SCARY FACTOR Low. Some young
children may find Animatronic dinosaurs startling.
WHEN TO GO In the afternoon, or with a shorter child while the rest of the group rides
the thrill rides. Usually closes at 7pm. EXPECT TO WAIT Less than ten minutes. LENGTH 45
minutes, with no way to exit in the middle. WHERE TO SIT Around the fourth row, which
makes it easier to see the films.
