In-Depth Information
of. life.. The. symptoms. are. hyperirritability. with. excessive. inconsolable. cry-
ing,.slow.feeding,.intractable.constipation,.idgety.sleep,.stunted.growth,.early.
atopic.eczema,.respiratory.allergies,.and.repeated.infection..The.teeth.would.
show. dark. staining.. Teeth. grinding. or. bruxism. occurs. in. sleep.. The. more.
severely.affected.would.have.delay.in.neurocognitive.function.and.gross.motor.
function.. The. affected. children. tend. to. have. speech. delay,. clumsiness,. poor.
eye. contact,. impulsivity,. and. hyperactivity.. If. infants. with. these. symptoms.
were. not. treated,. some. of. them. would. develop. autism,. asperger. syndrome,.
or.dyslexia..Treatments.of.these.children.include.identiication.of.the.sources.
of. toxic. input.. These. usually. were. consumption. of. too. much. ish. and. exces-
sive.cleaning.of.the.home.with.Chlorine.Bleach..Elimination.of.the.toxic.over-
load.involved.the.use.of.supplementary.antioxidants,.probiotic,.and.essential.
fatty.acid..Chelation.therapy.would.be.required.for.the.more.severely.affected.
children.(Masters.et.al..2008)..In.contrast.with.conventional.medical.practice,.
judicious.use.of.chelation.therapy.has.been.found.to.be.safe.and.effective.in.
restoring.the.health.of.these.toxin-laden.children.with.no.adverse.side.effects.
Nutritional Therapy
In.the.course.of.this.novel.therapy,.a.phenomenal.catch.up.growth.was.fre-
quently. observed. in. the. treated. children. during. the. recovery. period.. This.
implies.the.toxic.overload.has.compromised.normal.growth.and.has.never.
been.recognized.in.conventional.medicine..Once.it.was.relieved,.the.normal.
growth.trajectory.would.be.resumed..From.the.perspective.of.maximal.clini-
cal.beneit,.the.younger.the.patient.started.on.detoxiication.therapy,.the.bet-
ter.the.outcome..This.can.be.explained.by.the.higher.potential.of.the.inherent.
stem.cell.in.the.younger.patients.to.enable.compensatory.repair.of.the.dam-
aged.organs..According.to.our.experience,.a.child.presenting.with.obvious.
signs.of.cerebral.palsy.and.an.infant.presenting.with.signs.of.hemiplegia.due.
to. intrauterine. stroke. have. both. responded. favorably. to. the. detoxiication.
regime.. In. both. cases,. a. dramatic. recovery. from. the. neurological. handicap.
was. observed,. speciically.because. the.intervention. was.started. at. an. early.
age..The.inherent.plasticity.of.the.infants'.brain.should.be.given.the.chance.of.
compensating.for.any.damage.inlicted.by.the.passage.of.toxin.from.asymp-
tomatic.yet.toxin-overloaded.mothers.to.infants.during.pregnancy.
Adults. with. multiple. medical. problems. have. been. tested. for. toxic. heavy.
metal.overload..Literally.all.of.these.patients.have.been.shown.to.have.mer-
cury.and.other.toxic.heavy.metal.overload..After.they.have.been.started.on.
intensive. chelation. and. nutritional. therapy,. these. medical. problems. would.
be.signiicantly.ameliorated.or.relieved..Examples.include.hypertension,.dia-
betes.mellitus,.neurosis,.anxiety-depression,.peripheral.arterial.insuficiency,.
irritable.bowel.syndrome,.relux.esophagitis,.chronic.pain,.fatigue,.metabolic.
syndrome,.chronic.active.hepatitis,.autoimmune.diseases,.dementia,.chronic.
bronchitis,.retinal.degeneration,.glaucoma,.chronic.asthma,.and.other.chronic.
