Correlation Analysis of β 2 -MG, RBP, and MnB
Spearman. correlation. tests. were. performed. to. investigate. the. relationship.
between.RBP,.β 2 -MG,.and.MnB.in.the.study.groups.(Table.9.3)..The.correla-
tion.between.β 2 -MG.and.RBP.was.0.803.( P .<.0.001).(not.shown.in.Table.9.3)..
When.the.test.was.performed.for.boys.and.girls.separately,.it.was.found.that.
there. was. a. closer. correlation. between. MnB. and. β 2 -MG. in. boys. ( r .=.−0.310,.
P .<.0.01),.whereas.no.signiicant.relationships.were.found.in.girls..When.the.
test.was.performed.for.MnB.in.Guiyu.and.control.group.separately,.signii-
cant.negative.correlation.with.RBP.and.β 2 -MG.( P .<.0.05).were.found.in.Guiyu.
group..The.correlation.between.β 2 -MG.and.MnB.was.−0.231.for.the.full.study.
population.( P .<.0.01).
