6.6 Image as Template
An image can be displayed in a scene as a template to aid in modeling. With the mouse cur-
sor in the 3D window, press the N key on the keyboard and follow the steps in Figure 6.9.
1. Tick “Background Images.”
2. Click “Add Image.”
3. Click “Not Set.”
4. Click “Open.”
5. Select the views for
displaying the image. It only
displays in top, front, and
side orthographic view, and
in camera perspective view.
