You'll be feelin' groovy when you visit the 60s at Pop Century
This sprawling Disney value resort has a building dedicated to each decade from the 1950s
to the 1990s. The décor in each building faithfully represents the appropriate decade. This
makes it quite fun to check out the different buildings- all unique in their own way. Stroll
through the 1950s section and you'll be greeted by bowling pin staircases, 45 rpm records
(remember those?) and a Lady and the Tramp statue.
In the 60s you'll find yo-yos, Play-Doh and plenty of peace signs, or be greeted by 8-track
tape,Rubik'sCube,orcellphonestaircasesinthe70s,80s,and90srespectively.Thesheer
vastness of the resort means you'll want to save some time to explore each of the sections
asyoujourneythroughAmericanpopculture.Becauseofthesizeofthecomplex,youmay
have quite a walk to get to the bus stop to board the Disney busses that will take you to the
four major theme parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks, and to Down-
town Disney.
