on any given day. You can't visit multiple parks on the same day.
The park hopper option is great for families on the go, and for those with older kids that
have either been to Walt Disney World before, or who would grow bored if they were to
stay at one park for the entire day. Plus, the Extra Magic Hours you're allowed if you're
staying at a Disney resort will help you get the most of your day when selecting the Park
Hopper option. You can take the monorail between some of the parks, or board a Disney
bus for transportation between parks.
If your family is on their first visit to Walt Disney World, or if you have small children,
you should probably avoid the park hopper option because you may not be getting your
money's worth. First time visitors will enjoy a full day's worth of rides and attractions at
anyoftheparkswithoutfeelingtheneedtoventuretoanotherparkonthesameday.Youn-
gerkidswillprobablynothavethestaminatomakeitthroughafulldayatanyoftheparks
anyway, so you should probably avoid the Park Hopper option if you don't think the kid-
dies will last.
The cost to add the Park Hopper option to your ticket ranges from $6 per day for a 10-day
ticket, up to $35 to add the option to a one-day ticket.
Water Park Fun & More
This is our favorite option! The only time we don't add this option to our tickets is when
we visit in December or January. During those months the weather isn't quite as hot, so we
don't feel we'd get our money's worth. Plus, this is the prime time for maintenance to be
done on the water parks so you may miss out on some attractions.

Resort. You'll get to visit Disney's awesome water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard
Beach, plus you can go to Disney's DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park. If that's
not enough, you'll have the option to visit Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex or play
aroundofgolfat Disney's OakTrail GolfCourse- arelaxed, nine-hole course designed for
the entire family, or you can play a round of miniature golf (prior to 4:00 PM) at Disney's
Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland miniature golf courses.
