In-Depth Information
• That being said, you can find a slight savings at some Disney websites not
owned and operated by Walt Disney World. There are plenty of legitimate
options for purchasing Disney tickets. Just do your homework and under-
stand that you're accepting a certain amount of risk.
• When comparing ticket prices, be sure you're doing an 'apples to apples'
comparison. Some sites include sales tax in their published price, others do
not. Some sites add a delivery or processing fee that isn't mentioned until
the final step of the check-out process. Be sure to read the fine print!
• I'd recommend purchasing from a site that will mail your tickets to your
home, and one that offers expedited shipping via FedEx, etc. Some ticket
sellers require that you drive to their office in the Orlando area to pick up
your tickets. This only complicates matters.
• Be sure to order your tickets far enough in advance so you know you're not
waiting until the last minute for your tickets to arrive. You'd hate to have
your tickets arrive in the mail at home a day after you've arrived at Disney
World.
• Check to see if your employer has a relationship with Disney- you may be
able to purchase discount tickets that way. For example, General Motors
employees get a great discount on Disney tickets because of the company's
sponsorship of the Test Track attraction at Epcot.
