On Disney property or off?
Walt Disney World and the Orlando area have a great variety in types and prices of accom-
modations with an option to fit every budget. Whether you're searching for a luxury hotel

in the Orlando area.
Considering the fact that Walt Disney World is a vacation destination that prides itself on
being a family destination, when we first started traveling to Disney we were a bit miffed
to discover the limited options available for families with more than two children. Disney
has made great strides in this area in recent years, but larger families are still a bit limited in
where they can stay.
If you have three kids, or if you're planning on bringing along a friend, you'll find that a
third of Disney hotels do not allow more than four to a room. Also, many of the one-bed-
room villa options available at Disney resorts (such as Boardwalk Villas and Beach Club
Villas) only allow four to a room. Although two bedroom villas (that sleep up to eight) are
available at these resorts, they run about $400 more per night than the one-bedroom option.
This will price them beyond the reach of many families of five. If you're traveling with five
or more, this will definitely be a factor that may steer you toward one of the off-property
options in the area.
