Coincidentally, the busy seasons are also the time when accommodations & transportation
aremostexpensive.Ifyougoduringoneoftheless-crowdedtimesyou'resuretosavesome
money and get more from your park visits with the help of shorter lines.
Keep in mind that some of the attractions may be closed for repairs during winter months &
off-seasons, and also some of the park hours may be shortened. For example Disney's fant-
asticwaterparks,TyphoonLagoonandBlizzardBeachusuallyhavetheirmaintenancedone
during these times. At times both parks will be open, but several of the slides may be closed
for maintenance. Also, during December and January one of the water parks may be closed
completely.
Check the Disney website for park hours, closures, and scheduled maintenance closings for
some of the key attractions. You'd hate to spend all this time and money planning and mak-
ing your trip reservations only to find out one of the attractions you're looking forward to
themostisclosed.ToDisney'scredit,theseclosuresarescheduledwellinadvanceallowing
you plenty of time to plan around them.
