In-Depth Information
When you visit the water parks, it's a good idea to bring your own towel- though they're
available for rental at each park. You're also welcome to bring in coolers to both parks-
no glass or alcohol please. Wear a comfortable pair of water shoes if you have them. Your
feet will thank you after hours of walking around on the hot pavement. You may want to
plan to rent a locker to store your valuables, or better yet leave them locked in your room
or your car. I always bring a waterproof pouch to store my car keys, some spending cash,
and our park tickets (during trips we stay off-property). They're available in a variety of
sizeswhichcomesinhandyifyouneedroomforacellphoneorsmallcameratoo,andyou
can buy ones that go around your neck, or strap to your waist. If you're staying at a Disney
resort, or have purchased a magic band, make sure you stow it away while you're in the
wave pools or going down the slides. On our last trip, my son's magic band was lost at the
foot of Mount Mayday in the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool. While this was not a huge deal
(we had an extra one that we could re-activate) it will still be an inconvenience you do not
need to risk.
