Spaceship Earth
Although Spaceship Earth is certainly no 'thrill ride', it's an enjoyable experience and will
be a nice break from all the walking you'll do while at Epcot. Plus, it's great for those
people whohave always wondered what'sin 'the big ball' (or'geodesic dome' if youwant
to get technical) that has become the symbol of Epcot.
You board your spaceship to begin your journey through time. As you slowly traverse up-
ward, you enter some basic information about yourself and pose for a picture. History will
unfold before you as you progress to the top of the dome. Near the end of your experience
you'll answer a number of questions about the vision you have for your future. At the end
of the ride you'll catch a glimpse of your future- complete with your face in the pictures.
You can even have a postcard emailed to you from your own future!
Afteryouexittheridetherearemanyinteractiveexhibitstoenjoy,andyougettoseeyour-
self projected on a large globe along with the faces of other recent visitors. It's fun to see
the many different countries represented. All and all, Spaceship Earth is a pretty enjoyable
experience.
