In-Depth Information
This family-oriented coaster is sort of a cross between the experience you'll enjoy on Big
Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom's Frontierland and that of Goofy's Barn-
stormer located in the Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland. It's more of a thrill than
Barnstormer, but not quite in the BTMR category,so it fits nicely in between the two as far
as the ride experience.
Where Seven Dwarfs Mine Train differs from both, and from any other coaster in the
world,isthattheminecarsswaybackandforthasyougoaroundthetrack.Nothingdrastic,
but it's a nice touch as you swing out as you come around a bend and over dips and hill
climbs.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is fun inside and out!
The scenery and soundtrack for the Mine Train is plucked directly from the Snow White
and the Seven Dwarfs movie, and as usual Disney went all out to re-create a faithful rendi-
tion for this attraction. You'll make your way across rolling stone bridges and through the
forest past the Dwarfs' cottage before plunging deep into the diamond mine where (of
course) you'll find the dwarfs whistling while they work.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is definitely a must-ride attraction at Magic Kingdom and
is appropriate for the entire family. One word of caution though… This attraction is ex-
tremely popularsoyou'llwanttorideitearly(orlate) inthedayandyou'lldefinitely want
to schedule this one as one of your FastPass+ attractions if possible. Although the ride is
tons of fun, it is also fairly short. If you spend two hours waiting in line for it, you may
wish you hadn't.
