ety, this shop sells fabrics, clothing and handmade paper produced by local tribes. Profits
go towards development projects in local Shan and Pa-O villages, and the organisation
can also arrange treks.

KBZ Bank (Min St) has an ATM that accepts international cards, and a currency exchange
counter (9am to 2pm Monday to Saturday).
Internet is available at Cyber World (Aung Chan Thar St; per hr K1000;
8am-11pm) and
Sky Net (Kone Thai St; per hr K500;
7am-midnight) .
Getting There & Away
Several bus ticket offices (Union Hwy (NH4)) across from the market, as well as English-
speaking Dev Singh at Sun Shine MAP (Union Hwy (NH4); 7am-9pm) , book seats on
the long-distance buses between Kalaw and various destinations. Air-con buses, fan-
cooled minivans and pick-ups to other destinations in and around Shan State also stop
along this stretch of the Union Hwy (NH4), but it's worth noting that fares for foreigners
are routinely doubled.
Small local minibuses bound for Taunggyi depart every morning from a stop behind
the Aung Chang Tha Zedi; these buses can drop you off in Aungban (for Pindaya), Heho
