the long-distance buses between Kalaw and various destinations. Air-con buses, fan-
cooled minivans and pick-ups to other destinations in and around Shan State also stop
along this stretch of the Union Hwy (NH4), but it's worth noting that fares for foreigners
are routinely doubled.
