This family-run local business was one of
the first to establish itself in New Bagan and is run by U Kan Tun and her daughter Moe
Moe. The large showroom includes a mix of traditional and modern lacquerware, and it
is possible to see every step of the process in an adjacent workshop.

Worth seeking out on the backstreets, this
stylish showroom has a mix of cheap and higher-priced lacquerware, as well as the usual
artisans at work. Unlike other places, it does accept credit cards if you spend more than
$100, with the usual hefty surcharge.

See Nyaung U for most transport connections. There are airline offices on Main Rd.
