and in-room safe. The deluxe rooms are a worthwhile investment thanks to additional
space and a location next to the brand new swimming pool.

main road, this 37-room hotel offers roomy bungalows on shady grounds and has an in-
viting swimming pool. The decor is dated, but the rooms are spacious and come with
new air-con systems, satellite TV, refrigerator, bathtub, wooden floor and deckchairs on
the small porch. There is a good bakery and restaurant on site.

for money thanks to stable prices, particularly now that most nearby guesthouses have
hiked their rates up. The $35 rooms with balcony include a garden view, but the $60 bun-

around a small pool, this curiously designed hotel in Wetkyi-in offers amply propor-
tioned rooms, all with separate Jacuzzi bathtubs as well as showers in the large bath-
rooms. Spend a little extra for one of the upper-level deluxe rooms, which have more
light and direct pool access.
