Saw Yee, and lacking a roman-script sign, this is the Muslim version of the traditional
Myanmar curry house. The sour soup is replaced with a hearty dhal, the meat-based cur-
ries are rich and spicy, and sides include a smoky balachaung .

place to indulge simultaneously in people-watching and noodle sipping. It's a simple and
fun restaurant with trendy city-cafe overtones.

the back of market next to the footbridge over the train lines, this simple place serves
Shan noodles and Thai- and Chinese-style dishes, in addition to iced coffees and fruit
drinks. They're not the best Shan noodles in town, but it's a good place to refuel while
shopping.
