When the installation process is complete, you'll see the Login window. When you
open Final Cut Server in the future, the Login window will appear, as shown in the
next exercise.
USER
The credentials used to log in to Final Cut Server are determined by your network's setup.
These might be unique, or they may be the same ones you use for other services at your
organization. Your username is grouped with other similar users to determine your per-
missions within Final Cut Server. Assigning groups and permission sets is covered later in
this topic.
NOTE
Final Cut Server may be configured to use Local User group mapping,
Open Directory, or Active Directory. This topic uses locally configured users and
groups. An administrator user assigned to the default admin permission set will
be used initially.

In the Final Cut Server Login window, enter the username and password provided by
your instructor.
