Data Type pop-up, enter iPhone Xsan for Description, choose None from the Category
pop-up, and leave the rest of the values at default. Click Save Changes when finished.

Back at the Metadata Field in the Administration window, click the Create button to
make a new field. For Name, enter iPhone Local . Choose Boolean from the Data Type
pop-up, enter iPhone Local for Description, choose None from the Category pop-up,
and leave the rest of the values at default. Click Save Changes when finished.
Back in the Administration window, choose Metadata Group in the menu on the left,
and click the Create button in the top left of the Metadata Group area to make a new
metadata group.

In the New Metadata Group window, for Name, enter Publish Destinations . From the
Available list, hig hlig ht the iPhone FTP field you just created, and click Add to move it
to the Selected list on the left. Do the same thing for the other two fields you created,
iPhone Local and iPhone Xsan. When finished, you should have the three new meta-
data fields you created in steps 2-4 in the Fields Selected list on the left. By doing this,
you're making the metadata fields you created available to the Publish Destinations
metadata group that you're creating.
The new metadata fields will appear at the bottom of the Available list.

In the Actions area, highlight the Create, View Details, and Edit Details actions on the
Available list on the r ig ht, and click Add to move them to the Selected list on the left.
NOTE Adding these actions makes the metadata group available to Final Cut Server
for creating new assets (Create), and for viewing (View Details) and editing (Edit
Details) metadata from those assets.
