In-Depth Information
Earlier, you made metadata subscriptions through the Preferences pane, which gives
only the option of associating a copy, archive, email, or delete response with each sub-
scription. As you may have noticed in the Response Action pop-up menu, there are
many more types of responses.
Now that you have made your write XML response through the Administration win-
dow, let's create a new metadata subscription from there as well, and associate your
write XML response with it.
13 In the Administration window, click Subscription in the list on the left, and then click
Create to make a new subscription.
14 From the “Subscribe to” pop-up menu, choose Asset (you are subscribing to a change
in asset metadata).
NOTE You'll look at subscribing to jobs in Lesson 9, which talks about delivery. The
other option is subscribing to a change in production metadata and subscribing to a
system event.
15 In the Name field, enter Export Annotations on Status Accepted . Select the Enabled
checkbox to turn on the subscription; and in the Description field, enter Export
Annotations on Status Accepted . Leave Event Priority Modifier set to Normal (you
can set the priority Higher or Lower depending on how many subscriptions you have
going off at once).
16 For Event Type Filter, choose Modified, as you are looking for a change in meta-
data. From Response List at the bottom, choose your “Annotations Export as XML”
response from the Available list, and click Add to move it to the Selected list.
