NOTE If you receive an “already exists” warning, click Yes. This is because you're
overwriting the file you had previously checked out.

Open the project file in Final Cut Pro.

In the sequence, right-click the first instance of the clip 7-3 and choose Send To >
Motion Project from the shortcut menu.

In the dialog that opens, in the Save As field, enter Motion Project 1 . For the destina-
tion, select the Motion directory you created earlier. Deselect the Launch “Motion”
checkbox. Click Save.

At some point in the next minute, Final Cut Server will scan Motion Project 1 and
create an asset out of it. Search for Motion to find it.
