Ending a response with delete ensures that files are not duplicated within the catalog
when the watcher activates.
In this lesson you learned how to use the Final Cut Server built-in automation tools to
add files to the catalog as assets. Scans are powerful when you have an existing direc-
tory structure, as that structure becomes searchable metadata in Final Cut Server and
thus you don't have to move your media from its original location. Scans also offer you
the ability to segment your content, based on metadata set, file extension, or physical
location.

Add-only scans pick up only files with a create date newer than the last time the
scan was run. Full scans pick up new assets, modifications to existing assets, and
deletions of assets from the file system being scanned.
