fantastic, and puts a real decent amount of great slow-release calcium into the container soil mix. It also
works great as a pH buffer and it helps to keep the other soil mix fungi from becoming too dominant as it
really helps out the good bacteria, due to its influences on the pH and its porous nature. The ground oyster
shell is a finer grade than the crushed version and I use both versions all the time, especially in my earth-
worm farm and when recycling soil.
