6. To choose a location other than your current address, delete Current Location, then specify the loc-
ation you want to use. You can either type the address or type the name of someone in your Contacts list.
For the latter, as you type, Reminders displays a list of the matching contact addresses, as shown in Figure

4.17 Reminders displays a list of addresses from the Contacts app as you type.
7. To have the reminder appear when your MacBook Air first comes within range of the location, se-

the location, select the Leaving option instead.
8. Fill in the other reminder details, as needed.

Creating a new reminder list
By default, the Reminders app comes with a single list called Reminders. However, if you use reminders fre-
quently, the Reminders list can become cluttered, making it difficult to locate reminders. To solve this problem,
you can organize your reminders by creating new lists. For example, you could have one list for personal tasks
and another for business tasks.
To create a new reminder list, choose File →New List (or press +L). Type the list name and then press
Return.
After you create one or more other new lists, you can then move some or all of your existing reminders to the
appropriate lists. You do that by clicking the list that contains the reminder you want to move, then clicking and
dragging the reminder and dropping it on the destination list. (You can also right-click the reminder, click Move
to List, and then click the destination list.)
