You can synchronize selected apps with your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch.
Synchronizing e-books
If you've used your computer to grab an e-book from the iBookstore, or have added an e-book to the iTunes lib-
rary, you'll want to get it onto your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch as soon as possible. Similarly, if you've down-
loaded a few e-books on your device, it's a good idea to back them up on your computer.
You can do both by synchronizing e-books between your computer and your device:
1. In iTunes, click your device in the Devices list.
2. Click the Books tab.
3. Select the Sync Books check box.
4. In the topic list, select the check box beside each book that you want to sync, as shown in Figure
3.11.
5. Click Apply.
iTunes synchronizes the device using your new book settings.
