4. Use a T5 tamperproof Torx screwdriver to remove the ten screws on the bottom of the MacBook
Air case.
5. Carefully lift off the bottom of the case.
6. Use a T5 Torx screwdriver to remove the single screw that attaches the storage module to the
chassis. Figure 10.7 shows the screw location for the fourth- and fifth-generation MacBook Air, while Fig-
ure 10.8 shows the screw location for the third- generation MacBook Air.

The third-, fourth-, and fifth-generation MacBook Air case uses a couple of different lengths of screws, so make sure
you keep track of which screw goes where.
